All children and young people must have a completed parental consent form to climb at The Station.  Young Novice Climbers are unable to use the centre without someone supervising them – either an instructor or a competent adult climber.  This membership group includes all under-14s, regardless of experience, and those 14-17 year-olds who have little or no experience using an indoor bouldering facility.

We have a range of instructor-led kids groups at The Station, we also run Birthday Parties and Group Taster Sessions.

Becoming Independent

Experienced 14-17-year-olds are able to climb unsupervised once they have completed an induction or gained experience under supervision.

Before you climb at The Station you will need your parent or legal guardian to complete a parental consent form online.

If you have completed an induction and feel comfortable with the centre’s rules then you may be a 14-17 Competent Climber – you will still need a parent with you to complete the forms!
