Coaching

Whether you’re just starting out or have been climbing for years, we can tailor a coaching package to meet your needs, or join one of our regular sessions.

Wednesday Evening Beginner Coaching (£2)

This session is designed to help people who are new to the sport. You will learn fundamental climbing techniques and movement.

The session runs 19:30-20:30 every Wednesday. To get the most out the session you should arrive early to warm up beforehand.

Costs just £2 plus your normal entry.

Intermediate Coaching (£25 per session)

Intermediate Coaching is £25 per session or £20 for students

We run these sessions throughout the year. The sessions we currently have scheduled are:

  • 19th November 2017 – An introduction to physical training
  • 17th December 2017 – Structured bouldering
  • 28th January 2018 – Advanced techniques and antagonist training
  • 25th February 2018 – An introduction to endurance training.

Each session runs from 12:00-14:30 and costs just £25 (£20 for students).

Lattice Assessments (£100)

We have our own 10-degree Lattice Board and Lattice Assessor.

Lattice Assessments are the latest coaching initiative which is widely accepted as the world’s leading performance profiling tool. Through a series of physical tests, we are able to determine your strengths and weaknesses compared to hundreds of other climbers in our database.

We will then direct you towards improving your weaknesses relative to your current climbing goals.

Private Coaching (£25 per hour)

If you want some personal coaching we can organise a time and date to suit you. Your coach will personalise the session to suit your specific needs.

Training Plans (£25 per month)

We can also write you a training plan (£25 per month minimum 3 months). This will direct you exactly on how to train each week leading up to your goals. We have had great success with these pans with the majority of climbers surpassing what they thought was possible.
