IT’S RESULTS TIME!
On October 4th, we had a bash! Number 4 in the series and it keeps getting better right!? A big thank you to all who took part, all our setters, sponsors and to the finalists for putting on a great show. See how you did below
Open Male Open Female Legends Vets U14s
October 4th mean anything to you? Well it should as our Birthday Bash is back!
From 10am-3pm on Saturday 4th October there’ll be no less (or more) than 25 fun competition blocs to sink your teeth into. These will be a fun set for all to go at graded from V’easy’ to V’no chance’. There’s also a special ‘Gibbons competition’ for our regular kids’ groups that will include 2 top rope climbs and 10 specially set boulder problems for them. There’s also an academy session that is running on the day as well. Both can be booked above.
Lots of prizes to be won across all categories which are U14’s, Veterans (40+), Legends (60+) and Open (M/F). Anybody can enter the Open category but all categories are initially decided by age, just make sure you’ve circled your desire to enter the Open category if you fancy it. The points system for the climbs are as follows:
10 points – 1st attempt
7 points – 2nd attempt
5 points – 3rd attempt
3 points – 4+ attempts
Then, the top 6 competitors from the Open Male and Female categories will have a showdown for all to watch! With this starting at 4pm. Refueling will again be provided by the guys at Poblano Eatery with a great selection of Mexican food and some drinks as well. We have a variety of stalls for all your climbing essentials, with BeeKind climbing providing some unique brushes, Shoe Chalk providing the good stuff to keep your shoes smelling fresh and Northern Soles will be here to offer advice and show you what they do to fix up a shoe!
